April 21, 2016 Santa Ynez, CA---Fans attending Chumash Casino were treated to some funk and soul as the Family Stone took the stage, playing memorable hits such as "Everyday People" and "I Wanna Take You Higher."  Later on, "Dance to The Music" brought fans to their feet as they rushed to the stage for an all-out boogie.  Although the band's founding members, Sly Stone and the late Cynthia Robinson are no longer performing with them, the spirit of their music lives on through Sly's daughter, Phunne and the other band members : Jerry Marin (sax), Blaise Sison (bass), Nate Wingfield (lead guitar), ALex Davis (lead vocals and keyboard), and one of the top 100 greatest drummers, Greg Errico.  The band who hails from San Francisco, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
