Reverend Horton Heat at House of Blues
Photos and Words by Richard Roesler
February 22, 2019 - While I’ve been a fan of Reverend Horton heat for years, the first time I got to photograph the show was 2005. The digital cameras did not have the low light capabilities they do now, so to say they least I didn’t come out with a lot of keepers! Then I put in for them a couple years ago and just as I was pulling into the venue parking lot, I had a issue arise and had to miss the show. I of course notified my contact at that venue and asked them to apologize for me. So I was glad I got the opportunity again and they did not disappoint!
With the opening act of Voodoo Glow Skulls. The night was on point from the start! And photographically it was a blast, from the all out what the heck is going on of VGS to Matt Jordan's "Uniqueness" on the keyboards and RJ on the drums the images were there to be had while enjoying some great music! You really need to spend the evening with VGS & RHH when they come to town!
***REALLY thought I posted this right after VGS, must have been during the "I'm getting old shoulder issue Part 2***
Till next time,
Richard Roesler
