George Thorogood and The Destroyers to Play at Chumash Casino ResortvvGeorge Thorogood and The Destr

SANTA YNEZ, CA – January 30, 2017 – George Thorogood and The Destroyers are throwing a rock party in the Chumash Casino Resort’s Samala Showroom and you’re invited! The party kicks off at 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2017. Tickets for the show are $45, $55 & $65.

George Thorogood and The Destroyers’ high-energy, distinctive sound became a staple of the 1980s rock scene. With a career span of more than 40 years, the band has sold over 15 million albums and performed for more than 8,000 audiences. Their new Rock Party tour promises to raise the bar and rock the house like never before. It’s in those early moments, when the house lights emerge from the darkness and you hear the familiar sound of a slide guitar in tune with the punch of a drumbeat, that you know these guys are about to unleash a powerhouse, bad-to-the-bone performance.

Best known for his 70's namesake sitcom, The Bob Newhart Show, he remains one of the decade's icons of television. The 87 year-old funny man with a stutter, lives in Los Angeles with his wife of 53 years.

Far From "Flatt"

Country pop band, Rascal Flatts  threw a musical party for fans attending their sell-out show at the Chumash Casino.   It was a “sweet 16” so to speak, for  the country superstars now in their  16th year performing, with 16 number 1 hits.  The stage was set with double drums, double keyboards and banjo which became animated with life as the lights came up and the band took the stage.  Enter lead singer , Gary LeVox whose throat is two parts honey,  one part helium and 2 canary wings in flight.  The band cranked out beloved hits such as “Life is A Highway” , “Bless the Broken Road” and “What Hurts the Most”.With over 40 music awards, this talented musical group’s journey is far from over.  They are currently on  their Rhythm and Roots tour and will be performing August 3rd on the ABC TV special  CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock.
